Video: Hafizah Reflects

Fizz sees her participation in a secular organisation as also contributing to the Muslim & Malay community. “Singapore is too small to only contribute to our race or religion – we are part of a greater society.”

Hafizah (“Fizz”) was elected to the AWARE EXCO at the 2nd May 2009 EGM

Great job- Millie, Aye See, Fiz! just caught up with the videos, Looking forward to more.

Fizz: one day you must talk to us about being a tudong wearing muslim woman.
I was slightly surprised when you said if you could just make one other muslim woman realise she has a place in the wider society, you would have done your job (sorry ahh, words to that effect). The implication is muslim women generally dont feel they have a place or can contribute side by side other singaporean girls? excuse my ignorance, pls. a fault of being in the majority, mebbe. smiles.
